Photo @pedromcbride // The last of an estuary: The Cienega de Santa Clara is the last 5% of the Colorado River Delta that has not dried up. The only thing keeping this dwindling sanctuar--coveted by over 50 species of bird-- alive is waste water too salty to use for agriculture upstream. This image along with 19 more of my work on the entire Colorado River and its challenges are on display at the Rockwell Museum in New York for the next five months. #chasingrivers #delta #changethecourse #pow #estuary #petemcbride by natgeo
