Midnight sun on north west Svalbard and the light starts to get better. We're working on a small ice strengthened vessel called Havsel, Shown here at anchor in a sheltered bay in front of a glacier. To make the most of the lighting conditions, with the support of the ship's crew, we've turned day to night; we sleep through the harsh light of the afternoon and photograph and film during the better quality light of the night time.
