astronomy-to-zoology: Many-spotted Hummingbird (Taphrospilus hypostictus) …a species of hummingbird (Trochilidae) which occurs in the lower Andean foothills of South America, ranging from Ecuador, through Peru and Bolivia, to north-western Argentina. Many-spotted hummingbirds typically occur in subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests and tropical moist montane forests. Like most hummingbirds T. hypostictus feeds mainly on nectar but will take insects as well.
